This 2-hour online training session will examine the range of reading skills which contribute to pupil progress throughout KS2.

Code: SCH/21/11 Key Stage 2 Assessment of Writing: Session 3 - Cross-School Cluster Moderation (am option) - (For Non-Moderated schools only) CANCELLED

This is the final session of 3 sessions (Familiarisation, Have-a-Go, Cross-school cluster moderation) designed to support teachers in confidently and accurately assessing writing in Y6. All three sessions or individual sessions can be attended.

These moderation sessions will provide an opportunity for Year 6 teachers to have a writing collection externally moderated. All delegates will receive feedback on the collection they have bought to moderation.

All delegates to bring a copy of:

  •  A collection from one child comprising 4-6 pieces of evidence across a range of genres
(This collection needs to be photocopied four times)

Cost Details
£10 per delegate

Code: SCH/21/82 Statutory changes to induction from 2021 – briefing for schools (Headteachers and Induction Co ordinators) 2

In this briefing, the LA NQT Induction Manager will outline the key changes to statutory induction for newly qualified teachers starting from September 2021.
Guidance, clarification and advice will be provided on how to prepare for the changes, including the different options schools have for providing an Early Career Framework (ECF) based induction.
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Teaching School Hub will also be there to explain what the funded provider led version of the ECF will involve and how to access it through the Hub.
